Trading is the inspiration behind of establishing the listed company or Siam Splendid Steel Ltd., in order to be internationally acceptable in customers – both local and international timber industries.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS

STEP 1

IMPORT

The manufacturing process of Siam Splendid Steels Company begins with importing the band saw from overseas where our team has visited our suppliers’ factories as well as has viewed their production processes. Based on our observation, the suppliers produce the band saws with high tech machines and so does their manufacturing process. Owing to these facts, we guarantee in the high quality of our band saws to our customers. More importantly, Siam Splendid Steel Company does keep the products in the appropriate manner in order to maintain the quality of the band saws.

STEP 2

CUSTOMER ORDER

Made to order (MTO) is the concept that Siam Splendid Steel Company adheres to where we produce the products based on the varying demands of customers in terms of size, length, width, thickness or tooth pitch of the band saw. Apart from this, we do offer an optional service to our clients - adding alloy on the teeth as the ready-to-use product.

STEP 3

PROCEDURE

Stamping press process

Within Siam Splendid Steel’ factory, the initial transformation is making band saw’s teeth by the stamping press machine. This machine is well-designed, and it is equipped with the sharp mold; as a consequence, the tooth pitch become in shape and precise.

Welding process

Siam Splendid Steel prioritizes the welding process as one of the significant procedures. In order to come up with the effective welding procedure, we have conducted many researches with professionals and had several trials on the various machines. Resultantly, we are introduced by the high-tech welding machine that could produce a symmetrical joint on the band saws.

Grinding

This process is designed to remove the slags remaining on the band saw’s surface, after the welding process. In this process, the professor must carefully grind all the solidified slag in order to make the perfect smooth on the surface.

Bending

Heating the band saw is a step of the welding process which often blend the band saw unavoidably and results to unwanted curve. Consequently, the saw doctor will have to bend cautiously in order to return the form of straight line to the band saw.

STEP 4

QUALITY CONTROL

Siam Splendid has introduced the penetrant testing as the quality control method (QC) to our manufacturing process. This testing could examine the defect in the fusion-welded or the flaws on the metal, including surface-breaking, inclusion, micro cracks, gas pore, surface pore, etc. In case of the fault is being detected in the QC, the band saw will be delivered to the fixing process by the engineer. As a consequence, the band saw would be completed.

STEP 5

BECOME FINISH GOOD

The manufacturing process of Siam Splendid finally comes to the ending point where the band saw will be well-packed; becomes the finished goods and be ready to deliver to our customers.
