It was an honor to welcome Dr. เธียรศักดิ์ ชูชีพ, lecturer from the Prince of Songkla University, three students, and welding engineer to the second academic meeting at Siam Splendid Steel’s company factory on April 24th, 2018.
Since last six months, Siam Splendid Steel Company has been working on the performance improvement, conducted research on welding process, tried hard to figure out the root cause of problems,. The purpose of meeting is to review some knowledge, recall the making band saw process, and importantly update results of laboratory tests.
Meantime, the company had introduced some laboratory results to lecturer, students, and engineer which include the hardness test, tensile strength & yield strength test, micro structure analysis, reversed defect analysis, etc. Apart from the discussion, the students also obtained some materials used for knowledge utility and scientific research.
